Deployment Day

Mrs. Dela Cruz, The Head teacher of Araling Panlipunan department of FCLNHS introduced me to Mrs. Melisa P. Adzuara, a grade  7 AP Teacher to be my cooperating teacher.
I observed Ma’am Melisa Discussion. Teacher about Introduction of “Mga Sinaunang Kabihasnan sa Asya”.
When I found out that my cooperating teacher is a grade 7 AP teacher, I was so happy because I love to handle younger students like them. It will be a challenge for me if I can handle them.

Wednesday


Ma’am Melisa introduced me to her class as her student teacher.

Ma’am Melisa had class presentation for the next lesson which is “Panahon ng Paleolitiko – Panahon ng Metal.

Ma’am Melisa and I had an agreement that I will handle 5 sections of Grade 7 which is Gr.7-Sampaguita, Gr. 7- Rosal, Gr. 7- Lirio, Gr. 7- Jasmin and Gr.7- Gladiola.

Monday & Tuesday
I started to teach my first topic which is Kabihasnang Sumer. Also we have further discussion   about it because it is a complex topic. I gave them a quiz and assignment about Kabihasnang Indus & Shang.

I made a simulation game in order for them to motivate.
Activities: Ladder Web, W – Technique & Petal Web

I think the class was motivated because they participate in my discussion. This is my first time to give a quiz to the students which is worked by myself.

Wednesday

This day, I discuss the continue of my topic which is Kabihasnang Indus & Shang. I gave them a quiz and assignment about impluence of the 3 Civilization.
Recall them the last topic that has been discussed.
I made a simulation game in order for them to motivate.
Activities: Concept Map, Triad Map, Flow Chart & Tree Diagram

Based on my observation, gr.7 students learns more and participate more when I always make a simulation game.


09/21 - 22/17
Thusday & Friday
Follow up the 3 civilization. I gave them a long quiz and assignment about Kaisipang Asyano sa Pagbuo ng Kabihasnan
Recall them the last topic that has been discussed.
Activities: Chart
It’s hard to makevisual aids for discussion tomorrow.

Monday & Tuesday
I discussed about Kaisipang Asyano sa Pagbuo ng Imperyo. I gave them a quiz I asked them to make an output by using a poster that can be related in “pilosopiya, paniniwala, relihiyon, tradisyon & pananaw.

I discussed the procedure of the activity. I gave them example so that it can help the students to know what will do.
Activities: Pagtatala & Pot Web.
When they are doing their activity they are very serious.
And I realized that some of my students are very artistic and creative

Wednesday
I discussed about Pagbuo sa Pagkakakilanlang Asyano. I gave them a quiz and assignment about Mahahalagang Pangyayari sa Sinaunang Panahon sa Kanlurang Asya.
I made a decoding game in order for them to think more.
Activities:
Pot Web, Semantic Web, Concept Map, Tree Diagram & Petal Web.
It is good that even though how hard the topic is, they still manage to answer.



09/28 – 29/17
Thusday & Friday
I discussed about Mahahalagang Pangyayari sa Sinaunang Panahon sa Kanlurang Asya. I gave them a quiz and assignment about Mahahalagang Pangyayari sa Sinaunang Panahon sa Silangang Asya.

Sept. 28 - In the afternoon SSG had an activity for teachers which were ZUMBA.
Sept. 29 - Sport Festival for the Teachers and Student Teachers; Activities made by SSG.
Activities like Rainbow Rock, Saluhin mo! Itlog ko!, Sock Race, Kadang- Kadang, and the trending game from Showtime which is CASH-YA.
I made a decoding game in order for them to think more.
Activities:

Different strategies, planning and instincts were used for each game, especially from the teacher.
I am happy that no one got a failing score on the quiz.

Sept. 28 - In the afternoon, some teachers and co- student teachers joined to one of the activities for the teacher which was ZUMBA. We really enjoyed the time dancing together with the teachers; I feel that it was a relief for them in spite of their teaching.

Sept. 29 - Creating such activities like that for teachers was a great relief, relaxation and experience, showing that as a teacher we can also enjoy and show that we can play despite of different ages. Through these activities we can show our abilities, skills, and talents that usually building up “only” for the students in school and because of that I remember that teacher is always a learner.

I saw the preparation of each student and efforts of their proud parents.

It was a great pleasure to see all of the contestants wearing their costumes.
I saw the confidence of students. It was really overwhelming.
